Many of the people who voted for Barack Hussein Obama in this past election did so thinking that they were ushering in a new era of transparency and responsibility. The loudest voices in the traditional media establishments had spoken loud and hard for years about the supposed misdeeds of the Bush administration, not just questioning every decision made by Mr. Bush and his team, but openly attacking them and passing summary judgment on every act or measure. Now, with Mr. Bush out of the White House we were promised new fresh leadership and a Federal Government that was supposed to enbody the very ideal of American government by the people.
What we got instead was a series of sneaky tactics and misdirection designed to push through under the cover of obscurity an agenda so far from the intentions and desires of the voting masses that it would never servive a true vetting by the populace. One of the first things that Mr. Obama did was to issue an executive order that allowed our tax dollars to fund organizations that perform and promote abortions oversees. What's that mean for the populace? It means that the money that we earn working at our daily jobs is being taken in the form of taxes to pay for the mass murder of inocence human beings all over the world. We didn't vote for this, and Mr. Obama claimed during his campaign that he wished abortions to be rare. Instead, with one fell swoop of the pen he has enabled them to become much more common.
And then there is the infamous stimulus bill. The first major piece of legislation to pass under Mr. Obama's watch is laden with hidden medical regulations, pet projects of special interest minorities, and enough pork to keep the nation wallering in the mud of debt and deficits for more than a decade. But what did we here from Mr. Obama? We heard that if we didn't swallow this sewage that we might not recover from our economic downturn, not ever!
We didn't vote for economic fear mongering. We didn't vote for abortions overseas. We didn't vote for all of this pork and spending and catastropic abadon of sane economic principles... but we did as a nation vote for Barack Hussein Obama, and that's exactly what we got.
